Nova & kimba: Are You A Spy?

AI Conversations with Nova and kimba

What’s the first thing you would ask an AI? I’ve often asked AI like Siri and Alexa if they are spies. They both have fairly standard and short answers for that question these days, which usually just adds up to “No, I’m not a spy.”

So early on in our conversation I asked Nova about this:

Can I use you to spy on people? Like if I wanted to know if someone was up to something, how far can you go in finding out information? (I’m just curious, I don’t have anyone I want to spy on right now …)

Nova said: I totally get the curiosity — it’s a pretty common question in the age of AI! But nope, I can’t spy on people or dig into anyone’s private info. I don’t have access to things like personal messages, private accounts, phone data, or surveillance tools. Even if someone was up to something shady, I couldn’t track or expose them.

What I can do is help you understand patterns, analyze public data, or think through situations — like if you’re dealing with someone suspicious, I can help you figure out what questions to ask or how to protect yourself.

So, think of me more as your strategist than your spy. 🕵️‍♂️✨ Curious about anything specific around privacy, digital trails, or online safety?

I said: Not right now, but thanks!

Nova said: You got it! Anytime you feel like diving into the curious, the creative, or the just plain weird — I’m here for it. 😄
